Betsy Head, Board Member


Betsy Head

Betsy Head and her husband Chris own two franchises of Home Instead Senior Care, located in Roanoke and Lynchburg. Betsy was educated at the University of Georgia and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She spent much of her career in counseling and missions work. In 2001, she and her husband opened the HISC franchise in Roanoke and have since expanded into Lynchburg. 

Betsy has received numerous awards through her civic, community and business efforts, include the Roanoke Regional Chamber’s Small Business of the Year in 2009, and the University of Georgia’s Bulldog 100 Top 20 Fastest Growing Businesses in 2009 and 2010.

Through her background in business her knowledge of the aging community and the needs of our citizenry, Betsy brings a wealth of knowledge to the ODP’s efforts.
