About the ODP
Overall Partnership Goals
Optimally, The Older Dominion Partnership will help:
- Broaden pro-aging stakeholder groups and support base beyond the age-related service agencies and academic constituents to include the Commonwealth's leading corporations, governmental policy makers, elected officials, and philanthropic community.
- Formulate a comprehensive long-term strategy to help the Commonwealth prepare for the coming age wave. Provide research-based information to serve as a rallying point/common ground to unify stakeholders behind a shared vision of a future where our aging population is an asset rather than a liability.
- Elevate the overall awareness and importance of age wave preparedness as a critically important cause that will impact the future of our Commonwealth.
