Cribbs has more than 35 years of leadership experience in government, higher education, philanthropy, business, and civic affairs.  Cribbs served in State Government as a policy advisor in the Governor’s Office, on the staff of the State Department of Planning and Budget, the Virginia General Assembly’s House Appropriations Committee, and the State Council of Higher Education.  Cribbs was an Associate Professor of Economics and an administrative vice president at Virginia Commonwealth University for more than 20 years.  Cribbs also served as President of Jeffrey S.
